COURSE DESCRIPTION
In term one we will concentrate on Paper 1 covering the following main topics:
- Number systems
- Algebra 1 & 2
- Complex Numbers
- Functions and Graphs
- Financial Maths
- Sequences and Series
- Differentiation
- Integration
In term two we will move on to Paper 2 covering the following main topics:
- Probability
- Statistics
- Co-Ordinate Geometry of the Line
- Co-Ordinate Geometry of the Circle
- Area & Volume
- Trigonometry
- Theorems
- Constructions
- Enlargements & Transformations
In the weeks leading up to the Pre and final exams:
We will concentrate on exam techniques ensuring the students know how to maximise their marks from each question.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Over the last four years we have seen on average a 14.5% increase in a student’s grade in the first three months with Target Maths Academy, we then look to build on this further as the exam approaches. Our approach is very personal to each student and when one technique isn’t registering with a particular student, we try a different approach. No student is left behind.
